Calella de Palafrugell
Calella and its twin resort Llafranc were once described by Which Magazine as the most beautiful coastal resorts in Spain. Set between the towering headlands of the El Golfet and San Sebastian, Calella is a truly stunning resort with numerous sheltered coves and beaches fringing a turquoise sea. The ancient Carni de Ronda smugglers paths run the entire length of the coast and offer the most beautiful coastal walks imaginable.
For relaxing evenings Calella offers a good range of bars, restaurants and cafes, all within easy walking distance of our accommodation. Well worth a visit are the botanical gardens near the El Golfet and the nearby town of Palafrugell. Although Calella is an exellent choice at any time of the season we particularly recommend a visit during the festival seasons of Easter or San Juan (last weekend of June)
